So I dunno if this makes me an increasingly creepy private person or what but social journals seems like it would cause MAJOR drama if you actually said what you thought of people or anything like that.
Then I again I just might be a terrible friend.
So I picked twitter because I had heard of it more so than plurk but the headless dog thing was a pretty amusing.

Side note; so have not held a job yet and feel rather pathetic about admitting it.
1. Now that you have a profile on Facebook or MySpace, how will you share information about yourself to meet other students at Ai and start to build your network?
Not gonna lie... Kinda already had both of them. But I have made efforts to explain my facebooking especially, into my ai life. Seeing as I started at AI and made my facebook at the same time, it seems only natural to start grouping my AI friends up and chatting about teachers and so on.
2. Keeping in mind that employers use social networks as a recruiting tool, how will you use Facebook or MySpace to promote yourself to potential employers?
Well, part of me thinks this is a clever way to say, " So you're not gonna be posting drunk pictures of yourself now are you?" I have never put anything up on my facebook that i wouldn't be comfortable explaining. There have been times where I used it like twitter... and said what was on my mind which annoys people sometimes but everyone has bad days.

Online Communication.
The AI sites while containing tons of information and ways to access it can be a little frustrating navigating but it eventually becomes easier. I know I've looked up a few teachers emails on the AI campus website, and being able to search the library for a book without actually being in the library is kinda funny and awesome at the same time.
Funny story though, when we switched to GMAIL last quarter I'd forgotten to set up my email forwarding to my normal/usual email so I never got the notice that school was basically canceled until 2p.m. So I was LAMELY here at the usual 7:30AM. Yeah, I felt intelligent.
